Looking for a fun activity to do with friends that isn’t far from campus and won’t break the bank? Consider checking out Big Swing Golf Center in Gloucester County’s Washington Township, which is only a 10-minute drive from campus.
Big Swing offers a golf driving range, a mini golf course, a golf simulator and golf instruction. Big Swing offers free clubs for both adults and children to use, and customers are welcome to bring their own!
For the driving range, there are three bucket sizes that are offered: a small bucket that comes with 35 balls for $7.00, a medium-sized bucket that comes with 75 balls for $10.00, and a large bucket that comes with 105 balls for $13.00. The buckets are the perfect size for a group to share and with the price split each person will only end up paying a few dollars!
Moving onto the mini golf course, the course includes 36 holes and is $7.00 per person. The golf simulator offered at Big Swing allows players to experience some of the top courses in the world such as Pebble Beach, St. Andrews, and Bethpage Black! For college students, the hourly rate is $30.00.
They also offer lessons from golf professionals with over 25 years of teaching experience and they have more information about this on their website.
Overall, Big Swing is a great place to go with a group of friends on a nice day with many different forms of golfing to do, so head on over, you don’t want to miss out!
