Vanessa Vause, a junior at Rowan University, reports live, covering the student experience here at Rowan.
Today’s big story is the weather forecast expected at Rowan University this winter. Hot! Hot! Hot!
That’s right, folks, thanks to President Houshmand’s hot sauce flying off shelves to support student scholarships, Rowan predicts having a sweltering winter.
We are outside of the Student Center now, watching mascot “Whoo RU” as he shares information with students about scholarship opportunities and hands out Hawaiian leis to help students celebrate the hot forecast.
According to officials, Rowan University offers just under $18 million in scholarships to over 3,000 students each year. The University plans to expand its scholarship offerings, making a Rowan education even more affordable and accessible.
Admissions automatically considers new incoming freshmen and transfer students for scholarships, no additional application needed.
Continuing students, remember to fill out your scholarship applications by this year’s deadline of December 22.
