Along with being Student Government Association (SGA) president, Arielle Gedeon is a junior Radio/TV/Film (RTF) major with double minors in political science and new media. The Galloway, NJ (Atlantic County) native lives on campus and, in addition to her role as SGA president, serves as president of the Lambda Rho Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Arielle wants others involved with SGA as she views it as a great place to really make a difference within the Rowan community. She also talked about how often you tend to work with people who may or may not agree with different aspects of what you are working on. By being in SGA, you learned to be able to have your own voice, ideas and the ability to lead while working with others and gaining a new perspective on a number of different ideas.
