What are a few things you are looking forward to next year at Rowan?

I’m looking forward to taking the next big step in my life at Rowan. I’m looking forward to going through this transition — to living away from home, meeting new people, starting my journey to my career!

How or why did you choose your major?

I actually wanted to be a police officer before I chose Psychology. In high school I was in a law enforcement program but figured out that it wasn’t for me. I want to help people but in a different way. I think that mental health is often put on the back burner and left to scorch. I’d like to be a psychologist and help those who need support and someone to talk to.

What is one activity, club, sport or hobby that you did in high school that you’d like to continue with at Rowan?

I was in band/marching band for all four years in high school. I’d like to join a music-oriented club. It’s my creative outlet and quite good for stress relief.

Why Rowan?

I chose Rowan University because it has what I’m looking for, but when I visited, I fell in love completely. It feels like a home away from home, and I like that. I don’t feel out of place, I see myself enjoying my time here for the next four years!
