Meet Clauderson Desinor, a senior advertising and public relations dual major from Trenton, NJ (Mercer County), who is a first generation college student. Clauderson Desinor at Rowan University stands in front of the lights in the Student Center

Why did you come to Rowan?
“Personally, I had a couple friends here. They really enjoyed it. When I came to visit, I got a good feel for the campus. I really enjoyed the professors and faculty. They were all very welcoming!”

How has your experience at Rowan been so far?
“It’s been amazing. At first, I was only going for advertising, but I chose to do a dual major in public relations to broaden my horizons and to make me more marketable in the future. I actually really enjoy PR even more now!”

What is one piece of advice do you have for future transfer students?
“Get involved. Remain active on campus, get into clubs! I’m in PRSSA, The Public Relations Society of America. At first, I wasn’t sure about it. But I ended up really enjoying it and now I’m even on the E-board for the organization!”
